The BSc in Multimedia Degree Programme brought the studio to life with a dynamic Multicamera Production Workshop & Production Assignment held on 17th & 18th February at the NSBM auditorium under the Multimedia Production module.

Students stepped into the fast-paced world of television production — mastering live switching, camera coordination, studio workflows, and on-the-spot decision-making. Theory didn’t stay in the lecture hall; it moved under bright studio lights.

A special guest session by senior television producer and director Chandika Wijesena added invaluable industry insight, while our multimedia lecturers guided students through every technical and creative challenge.

Three complete TV productions successfully executed as group assignments — proving that learning at NSBM is not just conceptual, but hands-on, collaborative, and industry-driven.
