The inaugural workshop of “කථික’25,” the debate series organized by the Business Law Society of NSBM Green University, was held recently at the Green Boardroom.

This dynamic session served as an essential foundation for all participants, offering them a comprehensive introduction to the core principles and techniques of debating—skills that will prove invaluable as the competition progresses. The workshop was expertly led by Mr. Dinith Wijesooriya, LLB (Hons), Attorney-at-Law, whose extensive experience and deep understanding of debate enriched the learning experience.

Adding to the value of the event, Mr. Prasanna Perera, Senior Lecturer from the Faculty of Business, facilitated an engaging segment focused on enhancing soft skills. His interactive approach sparked enthusiastic participation, fostering a supportive and energetic environment.

The session also included the official announcement of the opposing teams for the first round of the competition, along with a detailed briefing on the rules and regulations, setting the stage for the debates to follow.
