NSBM proudly welcomed the Chairman of Bank of Ceylon Mr. Kavinda de Zoysa and members of the BOC Board of Directors on an official visit to the premises on 26th June 2025.

This significant visit marked a new milestone in the trusted partnership between NSBM and BOC, built over a decade of shared commitment to education, innovation, and national development.

During the visit, the BOC delegation was warmly welcomed by Vice Chancellor, Prof. E. A. Weerasinghe, and the university’s senior management. The two parties engaged in insightful discussions centered around strengthening ties and reinforcing their shared vision for advancing education and national development.

The delegation also embarked on a comprehensive campus tour, gaining firsthand insight into NSBM’s daily operations, cutting-edge facilities, and active development projects.

To commemorate the occasion and symbolize the deep-rooted bond between the two institutions, BOC Chairman ceremonially planted a Na sapling—Sri Lanka’s national tree—at the NSBM Phase II site.
