Wheels of Hope – a wheelchair donation initiative was carried out by a group of students from the 25.1 Batch at NSBM Green University, Faculty of Business, providing three wheelchairs to Homagama Base Hospital on 14th of August 2025.

 

The project was implemented in alignment with Sustainable Development Goals 3 (Good Health and Well-being), 10 (Reduced Inequalities), and 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).

 

This mission was made possible with the unwavering support of Mr. Sachin Kulandaivel, Lecturer, Faculty of Business, Ms. Sithumini Jayasekara, Lecturer, Faculty of Business, and the generous contributions and teamwork of the students involved.

 

The Wheels of Hope project not only met an urgent healthcare need but also fostered equality and partnerships within the community, proving that compassion and collaboration can create lasting change.
