Under the twilight sky on 13th August 2025, the NSBM Open-Air Theatre came alive with the vibrant sounds of “අම්බරේ 2025”, a spectacular musical evening organized by the NSBM Music Club. This year’s event carried special significance, marking the very first musical gathering for the new term of 2025 under the leadership of the newly appointed executive committee.

The evening gathered the graceful presence of Prof. Chaminda Rathnayake, Deputy Vice Chancellor, Prof. Baratha Dodankotuwa, Head – Academic Development and Quality Assurance, Mr. Thisal Yatawara, Head – Student Affairs, Lectures-In-Charge of the Music Club, Ms. Kalni Pieris and Ms. Chathurma Wijesinghe, along with the NSBM staff, students, sponsors and well-wishers.

From the very first note to the final encore, අම්බරේ 2025 was a true celebration of the remarkable musical talent nurtured within NSBM. The stage was enlivened where gifted musicians—our very own NSBM students— painted the air with harmonies, rhythms, and heartfelt performances that captivated every listener.
