Ms. Narmada Ranaweera graduated from the Faculty of Engineering, University of Ruhuna with a first-class honors degree in Electrical and Information Engineering in 2016. She was granted the Erasmus Mundus Scholarship for the joint master’s degree in Sustainable Transportation and Electrical Power Systems (EMJMD STEPS – 2017/2019) funded by EACEA, European Commission. Her master’s degree was coordinated by University of Oviedo with three partner universities, University of Nottingham, Sapienza University of Rome, and Polytechnic Institute of Coimbra.
Before, joining NSBM, she worked at the Faculty of Engineering, University of Ruhuna as an Instructor, Temporary Lecturer, and as a Lecturer (on an assignment basis). Her research interests are machines and drives, control, renewable integration, and micro-grids.
