Ms. Thusthika Arulnayakamoorthy holds the position of Lecturer (Probationary) within the Department of Biomedical Science at the Faculty of Science. She earned her B.Sc. (Hons) in Nursing with First Class distinction from the Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, University of Peradeniya. Ms. Thusthika brings valuable clinical experience gained at prominent institutions, including Teaching Hospital Kegalle (2017 – 2018), Teaching Hospital Kurunegala (2020 – 2021), National Hospital Kandy (2020 – 2021), and Srimavo Bandaranayke Specialized Children’s Hospital, Peradeniya (2018 – 2020) during her undergraduate period. She is a Registered Nurse in the Sri Lanka Nursing Council (SLNC). She initiated her academic journey as a Temporary Demonstrator at the Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, University of Peradeniya, and subsequently served as a Lecturer in the Department of Nursing at the Open University of Sri Lanka.
