Ms. Hiruni Pubudika Dassanayake is a highly accomplished Civil and Environmental Engineer, researcher, and academic, currently serving as a Lecturer in the Department of Mechatronic and Industrial Engineering at NSBM Green University. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Honours) Degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the Faculty of Engineering, University of Jaffna, graduating with First-Class Honours with earning prestigious awards and Gold Medal from the Faculty of Engineering, University of Jaffna. With strong expertise in geotechnical engineering and sustainable construction, she has industry experience at the Sri Lanka Ports Authority, where she contributed to major infrastructure projects such as the East Container Terminal (Phase II) and Jaya Container Terminal (Phase V) as a Trainee Civil Engineer. As an innovative researcher, she has published her findings in prestigious indexed journals. She has contributed to a local institutional journal and several conference proceedings, showcasing her ability to disseminate her research.
