Profile

Ms. Chavindri Chiranga Perera is an Attorney at Law of the Supreme Court of Sri Lanka. She holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) with a Second-Upper (2:1) class and a Master of Laws in International Business Law with a Distinction, both from Staffordshire University, UK. She has also completed a Diploma in International Relations (Diplomacy and World Affairs) with a Merit.
She has served as the Research Assistant to a Judge of the Supreme Court of Sri Lanka and currently as it stands, has completed 6 years in practice as a counsel at the Bar. She specialized in Civil-Appellate litigation, Fundamental Rights as well as in Arbitration, where she has also served as a counsel in Commercial Arbitration.
She’s keen for research on the intersection of technology/AI and the law.
She serves as a lecturer attached to the Department of Legal Studies at the Faculty of Business of NSBM Green University.
