Mr. Krishantha Ranaweera is a Lecturer at NSBM Green University, contributing to the Faculty of Computing. He began his professional journey as a Software Engineer at Digital My Business before transitioning into academia, where he served as an Assistant Lecturer at the University of Vavuniya and later as a Lecturer at SLIIT. He completed his bachelor’s degree at the University of Jaffna and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Computer Science with a specialization in Artificial Intelligence at the University of Peradeniya. His teaching and development expertise spans ASP .NET, Spring Boot, JSP Servlet, React, and Android Studio. He is actively involved in lecturing, supervising undergraduate research, and serving on academic committees. His research interests include AI-powered cybersecurity and Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), Explainable Artificial Intelligence (XAI), and the broader field of Artificial Intelligence for Security.
