Mr. Dushan Tharusha Leelachandra is an alumnus of St. Sylvester’s College, Kandy, and currently serves as a Temporary Lecturer in the Department of Marketing and Tourism at NSBM Green University. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Tourism and Hospitality Management from Rajarata University of Sri Lanka, where he graduated with First Class Honours and was awarded the prestigious Prof. Geoffrey C. Lloyd Gold Medal for the Best Performance in the B.Sc. (Tourism and Hospitality Management) Special Degree.

Mr. Leelachandra brings valuable industry exposure to his academic role, having gained hands-on experience in some of Sri Lanka’s leading travel and tourism organizations. He began his professional journey as a Trainee Executive in the Excursions Division at Aitken Spence Travels, and later served as a Tour Executive in the Quality Control Department at Tangerine Tours.

Prior to joining NSBM, he held the position of Temporary Assistant Lecturer at Rajarata University of Sri Lanka, where he was actively involved in teaching, curriculum development, and mentoring undergraduates in the field of tourism and hospitality.
