Students begin their studies under the NSBM course in Sri Lanka for the first year and then transfer to the Southern Cross University Course. ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS

Entry into Year 1of the NSBM course wil be on NSBM admission requirements.

  • 3 simple passes for G.C.E Advanced Level in a single attempt for core subjects
  • OR
  • Completion of NSBM foundation programme
  • OR
  • Completion of Edexcel or BTEC Certified foundation programme (*Subject to the approval of program director)
  • OR
  • Completion of any other foreign university affiliated foundation programme (*Subject to the approval of program director) 
  • AND
  • The English language entry requirement for the NSBM course
  • Simple pass 'S’ for General English paper G.C.E Advanced Level
  • OR
  • Completion of IELTS within the first year with an Academic overall score 6.0 with no band less than 5.5
  • OR
  • English language comparable scores to Academic IELTS

Entry Requirements for SCU Course (including English language entry requirements)

English Language Proficiency and Successful completion of Year 1 of the NSBM course, including all relevant units required for credit transfer
