Profile

Anton Jayakody is a dedicated academic and researcher currently serving as a Temporary Lecturer at NSBM Green University, Sri Lanka. He holds a First Class Honours BSc. (Hons) in Computer Science from the University of Plymouth, UK, and is currently reading for his MSc in Computer Science at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura.

His research interests include Neural Networks, Large Language Models, and Hyper-parameter Aware Generation, with a strong focus on applying AI in impactful real-world scenarios. Anton has authored several peer-reviewed full papers, including “EMMA: Empathetic AI Agent for Companionship”, “Image Evolution Using Genetic Algorithms and VGG19”, and “Impact of Missing Data on Big Data Analytics”. His recent work, “Zero to Hero: Enhancing Zero-Shot Accuracy in Low Parameter LLMs”, explores advancements in prompt engineering and sentiment-aware generation.

Currently, he is engaged in ongoing research on Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)-based university support systems and the impact of hyper-parameter awareness in zero-shot generation. At NSBM, he teaches modules such as Object-Oriented Programming with C#, Foundational Mathematics, and Software Development Practices, contributing actively to both research and academic development within the field of computer science.
