Vihanga Senevirathne is a lecturer in the Department of Mechatronics and Industrial Engineering at NSBM Green University. He completed his schooling at Royal College, Colombo, and received a full merit scholarship through the Ministry of Higher Education, Sri Lanka, to pursue his bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering at the National Institute of Technology Rourkela, India, under the ICCR scholarship program. Graduating with First Class Honors, he was awarded another full merit scholarship to complete his master’s degree in Transportation Engineering at the same institute. His research focuses on sustainable pavements, pavement performance, and asphalt mastics. He is an Associate Member of the Institution of Engineers Sri Lanka (IESL) and the Institution of Engineers India (IEI), as well as an Affiliate Member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE).
