Mrs. Kavishka Thathsarani Rajapaksha received a Bachelor of Science (Hons.) Degree in Applied Mathematics with the first class (GPA 3.90) from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Sri Lanka. She was awarded the Dr. Sunethra Weerakon Gold Medal which is awarded to the student who obtains a first class pass with best performance in Applied Mathematics at the Department of Mathematics, Faculty of Applied Sciences, University of Sri Jayewardenepura. She started her career as a demonstrator at her University. Currently, she works in the school of computing of NSBM and delivers lectures in Introduction to Data Science, Computational Theory, Mathematics and Advanced statistics for Data Science. She is currently pursuing her PhD in Mathematics at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Sri Lanka.
