The NSBM Green University rugby team participated in and marked an unforgettable victory at the Mora Sevens Inter Collegiate Rugby Tournament which was held on the 21st of May 2023 at the Colombo University grounds with an astounding score, making them the tournament’s CHAMPIONS!  The team was led under the Captaincy of Manula Rathnayake and Vice Captain, Dinil Akash.

NSBM was represented at the tournament by the presence of Prof. Bharatha Dodankotuwa, Head of Academic Development & Quality Assurance and the MIC of Rugby Club, Ms. Shehani Joseph, MIC of the Rugby Club, Ms. Shanika Sewwandi, Executive – Sports and Physical Education of NSBM Green University.
