The Law Society attached to NSBM’s Department of Legal Studies proudly celebrated Vox Terrae – Voices of the Earth, an initiative dedicated to fostering the creative voices of students on the intersection of law and the environment.

 

The event showcased the power of words through a creative writing competition and the launch of a collection of student poems and articles, highlighting the role of literature as a catalyst for environmental awareness and legal consciousness.

 

Adding further inspiration to the occasion, Dr. Ravindranath Dabare, Attorney at Law, Co-Founder and Senior Legal Advisor of the Center for Environmental Justice, delivered an engaging guest lecture on “Legal Activism for the Protection of Nature,” encouraging students to recognize the vital role of law, advocacy, and individual action in safeguarding our environment.

 

Vox Terrae, celebrated not only creativity but also the responsibility of future legal professionals to become voices for justice, sustainability, and the protection of our planet.
