The NSBM Green University delegation comprised of Hon. Minister Dr Susil Premajayanthe, Vice Chancellor Prof. E A Weerasinghe, Deputy Vice-Chancellor Prof. Chaminda Rathnayake, recently embarked on a significant visit to Baylor College of Medicine in the USA.
During the visit, they engaged in insightful discussions with key figures from the university, including Dr. Atul Maheshwari, Director of Curriculum & Associate Professor of Neurology, Dr David Rowley, Associate Dean of Foundational Sciences & Professor, Molecular and Cellular Biology and Dr. Daniel Rosen, Global Director of Pathology and Professor of Pathology. The primary focus of these discussions was to gain insights into the university’s systems, witness its cutting-edge facilities, and explore potential avenues for collaborative partnerships in medical and health sciences.
The visit was facilitated and actively participated in by Vidya Jyothi Dr. Bandula Wijay, a world-renowned Sri Lankan inventor, entrepreneur in Biomedical Engineering and diplomat currently living in the USA.
