The inauguration ceremony of the Department of Operations & Logistics was held on 24th February 2021 from 10.00 am onwards at the department premises. The ceremony was graced by the presence of Vice-Chancellor of NSBM Green University, Prof. E.A. Weerasinghe the Deputy Vice-Chancellor Prof. Chaminda Rathnayaka Head of Academic Development & Quality Assurance Prof Baratha Dodankotuwa, Dean Faculty of Business Ms. Thilini De Silva, Deans of other faculties and Heads of Departments.
In the ceremony, the department logo was unveiled by Vice-Chancellor and the first issue of the department newsletter Insignia was presented to the guests. Undergraduates of the Department of Operations & Logistics brought light to the event by organizing an exhibition that portrays the disciplines represented by the departments.
