The delegation of NSBM Green University comprising Hon. Minister Dr Susil Premajayanthe, Vice Chancellor Prof. E A Weerasinghe, Deputy Vice-Chancellor Prof. Chaminda Rathnayake, visited and discussed with TCG GreenChem New Jersey, USA, led by Sri Lankan-born scientist and CEO Dr Chris H. Senanayake potential partnerships development in the fields of science and pharmaceutical areas.
 
TCG GreenChem, Inc. is the US subsidiary of TCG Lifesciences Pvt. Ltd., a leading global Contract Research and Manufacturing Services (CRAMS) company in drug discovery and development, with a workforce of over 1,300 scientists worldwide.
 
The team witnessed the laboratories and other TCG GreenChem facilities and discussed possible avenues for partnerships with research and management teams, including internships and joint research operations for NSBM students. The team also met young Sri Lankan scientists working at the facility.
