The foundation stone laying ceremony for the construction of a twelve-story building of NSBM-Phase II was held today at an auspicious time with the presence of the Vice-Chancellor of NSBM; Prof. E.A. Weerasinghe, Deputy Vice-Chancellor; Prof. Chaminda Rathnayake, Head of Academic and Quality Assurance; Prof. Baratha Dodankotuwa, deans of the faculties and other distinguished guests. Through this project more learning opportunities are open for both local and international students in various disciplines under the three proposed faculties of Law, Social Sciences and Health Sciences. Phase II also houses a fully equipped stadium, hostel facilities and an all-purpose auditorium.
