The 3MT (Three-Minute Thesis) Competition was successfully held on 13th October 2026 at the Faculty of Business, NSBM Green University Town, as part of the International Conference on Business Innovation (ICOBI) 2026. Participants were challenged to communicate their research clearly and engagingly to a diverse audience within three minutes.

 

A distinguished panel comprising Prof Thilini De Silva, Prof Payal Kumar, and Prof S Buvanendra evaluated the presentations. The panel assessed each presenter on comprehension and content, engagement and communication style, impact and significance, visual design, and timing and delivery.

 

The winners were announced as follows:

1st Place – Ms Tharushi Hetti Arachchi

2nd Place – Mr Oshan Piumantha

3rd Place – Mr Praveen Ranaweera

 

Heartfelt congratulations are extended to the winners, and sincere appreciation is expressed to all presenters for their contributions. Gratitude is also extended to the panellists for their valuable time and constructive feedback. The competition was coordinated by Ms Shehani Dilhara, with the support of Ms Avishki Perera.
