PuzzleUp Exhibition 2026 Makes Management Accounting an Interactive Learning Experience

The Department of Accounting and Finance of the Faculty of Business at NSBM Green University successfully organised the PuzzleUp Exhibition 2026 on 20 August 2026, as an innovative learning activity for the 25.3 Batch under the Management Accounting module.
Designed to take learning beyond the conventional classroom environment, the exhibition transformed key concepts in Management Accounting into an engaging and creative experience. Through a series of interactive puzzles and problem-solving activities, students had the opportunity to demonstrate their understanding of accounting concepts while applying creativity, teamwork, analytical reasoning, and practical knowledge.
The PuzzleUp Exhibition 2026 provided an innovative platform for students to apply their Management Accounting knowledge in a practical and engaging setting. The activities encouraged students to strengthen essential skills such as communication, collaboration, critical thinking, analytical reasoning, creativity, and problem-solving, while working collectively to develop and present their concepts.
More importantly, the exhibition encouraged students to view accounting beyond calculations and theoretical concepts. By transforming academic content into interactive and experiential activities, the initiative demonstrated how Management Accounting can be explored, communicated, and applied in creative and meaningful ways.
The event was honoured by the presence of Prof. Thilini De Silva, Deputy Vice Chancellor – Academic; Ms. Anne Pathiranage, Dean, Faculty of Business; Prof. Athula Manawaduge, Head, Department of Accounting and Finance; Ms. Rhythmani Perera, Module Leader – Management Accounting; and academic members of the Department of Accounting and Finance.
