The Pre-Conference Workshops of the International Conference on Business Innovation (ICOBI) 2026, organized by the Faculty of Business at NSBM Green University, were successfully held today 13th October 2026, setting the stage for the upcoming conference.

The workshops created a valuable platform for knowledge sharing, critical discussion, and academic development, featuring two distinguished academics who shared their expertise on emerging trends in sustainable finance and effective research publishing.

The sessions featured Prof. S. Buvanendra from the Department of Finance, Faculty of Management and Finance, University of Colombo, Sri Lanka, who delivered an insightful session on “Sustainable Finance in the Age of Artificial Intelligence: An Evolutionary Perspective,” and Prof. Payal Kumar, Principal and Academic Mentor at the Indian School of Hospitality (ISH), India, who shared valuable insights on “7 Traps to Avoid When Publishing Your Paper.”

The event marked an enriching beginning to ICOBI 2026, encouraging meaningful academic engagement and inspiring researchers to strengthen their research and publishing practices.
