NSBM Green University was honoured as the winner of the Gold Award for State Service Sector at the National Business Excellence Awards 2023 organised by the National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka (NCCSL). Yet again setting a benchmark as a State Higher Education Institution, this prestigious award is a testimony to NSBM’s excellence through significant contribution and continued commitment towards empowering a knowledge-driven nation. 

Reaffirming the university’s outstanding performance excellence, NSBM also clinched the Silver Award under the sub-award category of Excellence in Performance Management.  

The awards were received by the Vice Chancellor of NSBM Green University, Prof. E. A. Weerasinghe, at the awarding ceremony held on June 20^th, 2023, at Shangri-La, Colombo. 

National Business Excellence Awards is one of the pioneering award competitions in Sri Lanka, organised annually to recognise business enterprises which have demonstrated excellence in their respective service sectors whilst contributing to the country’s economic progress.
