NSBM Quality Assurance and Staff Development Center successfully conducted a Continuous Professional Development (CPD) Session on “University Education, AI, and Pedagogical Approaches” on 24th July 2026 at the Green Boardroom.

 

The session was facilitated by Prof. Yapa Mahinda Bandara, Associate Professor at Edinburgh Napier University, as our distinguished facilitator. His extensive experience in higher education, research, and academic development provided valuable insights into the evolving role of Artificial Intelligence in university education and its implications for contemporary teaching and learning. The session provided an engaging platform for academics to reflect on emerging AI-enabled educational practices, pedagogical innovation, and the importance of continuously adapting our approaches to meet the changing needs of learners.
