In commemoration of the sacred Poson Full Moon Poya Day, which marks the historic arrival of Arahat Mihindu Thero to Sri Lanka with the invaluable gift of Buddhism, the Media Club of NSBM proudly presents the devotional music production, “Apata Anubudu Mihindu Samindu” (අපට අනුබුදු මිහිඳු සමිඳු). 

 

The official launch of the music video was held at a special ceremony on 26 June 2026 at the NSBM Green Boardroom, in the presence of the Vice-Chancellor – Prof. E. A. Weerasinghe, Deputy Vice-Chancellor – Prof. Chaminda Rathnayake, Head of Academic Development and Quality Assurance – Prof. Baratha Dodankotuwa, Senior Manager (Administration) – Mr. Kapila Liyanage, Master-in-Charge of NSBM Media (Deputy Dean – Faculty of Computing) – Mr. Naji Saravanapavan, Deans and Deputy Deans of Faculties, Heads of Departments, academic and non-academic staff members, and invited guests. 

 

“Apata Anubudu Mihindu Samindu” stands as a testament to the creativity, dedication, and collaborative spirit of the NSBM community. Conceptualized and produced by the NSBM Media Club, the devotional song brings together the talents of undergraduate students and university staff in a meaningful tribute to the enduring legacy and the values of Buddhism.
