To commemorate Poson Full Moon Poya Day 2026, NSBM Green University organized a series of religious and community engagement initiatives that reflected the values of generosity, compassion, and community service.

As part of these celebrations, the University staff organized a Pasta and Chai Masala Tea Dansala for the second consecutive year with great devotion on 25 June 2026.

Held near the University’s main entrance, the Dansala warmly served pasta and chai masala tea to more than 6,000 students, staff members, members of the surrounding village community, and visitors. The initiative provided a meaningful opportunity to share the spirit of giving and compassion that lies at the heart of the Poson season while strengthening the University’s bond with the wider community.

The event reflected NSBM Green University’s continued commitment to fostering social responsibility, cultural values, and community engagement through initiatives that bring people together in the true spirit of Poson.
