The school outreach program conducted by the FOSS Community of the Faculty of Computing at NSBM Green University was successfully carried out at St. Paul’s Girls’ School, Kelaniya. This initiative was designed as a sustainable effort to strengthen the connection between university undergraduates and school students through direct engagement at the school. The program focused on introducing modern ICT technologies while providing hands-on learning experiences to inspire and guide students toward IT-related education, while also supporting their school curriculum.

The event was primarily organized by the student members of the FOSS Community under the guidance of the Lecturer-in-Charge, Ms. Thisarani Wickramasinghe, with the support of Lecturers Ms. Nimesha Hewawasam and Ms. Dharani Rajasinghe. The program was further supported by the Dean and Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Computing, Dr. Rasika Ranaweera and Mr. Naji Saravanapavan, whose guidance and contributions played a key role in ensuring its success.
