The FOSS Community of our Faculty of Computing successfully conducted the first session of the “DevPath Workshop Series” with the aim of improving students’ awareness and understanding of technology and open-source platforms.

 

The session was conducted by guest speaker Mr. Lahiru Udawaththa, Software Engineer, together with interactive activities organized by the FOSS Community members, providing students with practical exposure to Linux fundamentals and open-source environments.

 

The program was supported by the Dean, Dr. Rasika Ranaweera and Deputy Dean, Mr. Naji Saravanapavan, of the Faculty of Computing, whose guidance and contributions played a vital role in making this session a success. This event was organized by the student members of the FOSS Community under the guidance of the Lecturer-in-Charge, Ms. Thisarani Wickramasinghe and Ms. Nimesha Hewawasam.
