The Faculty of Science at NSBM Green University welcomed the 3rd Batch of the BSc (Hons) Nursing Top-up Degree Programme 2026 at an inauguration ceremony hosted by the Department of Health Sciences.

The ceremony marked the official induction of a new cohort of students as they embark on their academic and professional journey in nursing. The programme provides an opportunity for aspiring nursing professionals to further enhance their knowledge, skills and professional competencies through higher education.

The occasion was graced by Prof. Thilini De Silva, Deputy Vice-Chancellor – Academic, Dr. Nuwanthi Katuwavila, Dean of the Faculty of Science, and Ms. Sandhyani De Silva, Head of the Nursing Programme, together with academic and non-academic staff members.

The presence of the University leadership and staff added significance to this important milestone, as the new students were welcomed into the NSBM academic community and encouraged to pursue their studies with dedication and commitment.
