As part of PIXORA ’26, the ICT Day organised by the ICT Society of Panadura Balika College, Mr. Oshan Piumantha, Lecturer in the BSc in Multimedia Degree Programme offered by the Department of Marketing and Tourism Management, Faculty of Business, NSBM Green University, conducted a guest session and practical workshop on AI and Content Creation.

The session explored the creative applications of artificial intelligence in filmmaking, television commercial production and other audiovisual projects. Through practical demonstrations and interactive activities, students gained insights into how AI-powered tools can support the creative process and open up new possibilities in digital content production.

A key highlight of the programme was a live television commercial creation competition, which provided students from participating schools with an opportunity to apply their creativity and experiment with AI-powered content creation. The hands-on activity encouraged participants to explore innovative ideas while gaining practical experience in the use of emerging technologies for creative production.

Through initiatives such as this, NSBM Green University continues to support school-level education by sharing knowledge, fostering creativity and encouraging young learners to explore emerging technologies.
