The Department of Accounting & Finance of NSBM Faculty of Business successfully conducted a guest lecture for the Introduction to Finance students on “AI-Enabled Finance & Transformation of the Finance Function.”

 

The session was conducted by Mr. Kaveen Sadeeptha, Country Leadership Sourcing at Pentland Brands and an alumnus of the Department of Accounting & Finance. His session provided students with valuable insights into how artificial intelligence is reshaping finance roles, business decision-making, and the future of the finance function.

 

The guest lecture created a meaningful learning experience for first-year students by helping them understand how finance is evolving beyond traditional textbook concepts and how emerging technologies are transforming the expectations of modern finance professionals.

 

The best part of the session was students turning their key takeaways into creative video reels right after the session.
