NSBM Green University ushered in another exciting new chapter by ceremonially welcoming over 300 students who enrolled in the NSBM Foundation Programme for the July 2023 intake. The Inauguration Ceremony to welcome the new intake on campus was held on 1^st July 2023 at the NSBM Auditorium. The ceremony that saw the participation of new entrants and their families served as s a formal induction of these students and parents into the vibrant NSBM community. 

The ceremonial inauguration was added more significance through the esteemed presence of Vice Chancellor of NSBM, Prof. E. A. Weerasinghe, Deputy Vice Chancellor, Prof. Chaminda Rathnayake, Head of Academic Development and Quality Assurance, Prof. Baratha Dodankotuwa, Deans of the faculties, academic and non-academic staff. The keynote address of the ceremony was conducted by Retired General Daya Rathanyake, the 20^th Commander of the Sri Lanka Army. 

Addressing the new students and their families, the Keynote Speaker, Deputy Vice Chancellor, Head of Academic Development and Quality Assurance and several other senior academics of NSBM expressed heartfelt congratulations and encouraged the new entrants to embrace the spirit of NSBM and grab the exciting opportunities that they are offered throughout the journey at NSBM.
