“CSSL Genz Chapter”, the Inauguration Ceremony of the Computer Society of Sri Lanka at NSBM Green University, ended on a positive note on 19^th July 2023 at the faculty premises. 

This special occasion was crowned with the Vice-chancellor of NSBM – Prof. E.A.Weerasinghe, Deputy Vice Chancellor of NSBM, Prof . Chaminda Rathnayaka, Head, Academic Development and Quality Assurance, Prof. Baratha Dondankotuwa, Deans of the Faculties of NSBM, President of CSSL – Dr. Ajantha Athukorala, Secretary of CSSL – Mr. Heshan Karunarathna, the immediate Past President and council member of CSSL – Mr. Damith Hettihewa, fellow member and Past President of CSSL – Mr. J. M. Chrisantha Silva, Council member and project chair of CSSL- Dr. Nirosha Wedasinghe, Manager, CSSL Secretariat – Ms. Krishni Hewage, Project Manager, CSSL Secretariat – Mr. Dhananjaya Mahagedara, Vice President of Sir John Kotelawala Defence University, Mr. R. Chanda Prakash, immediate Past President of Sir John Kotelawala Defence University, Mr. Gagana Abeyrathna, Ms. Minduli Munasinghe from Sir John Kotelawala Defence University, Master In Charge of CSSL at NSBM- Mr. Isuru Sri Bandara , fellow academics of the NSBM Green University, all the committee members and students of the Faculty Of Computing. 

During the event, the inaugural Top Board and Committee Members of the Computer Society of Sri Lanka of NSBM were appointed, and an inspirational speech was followed by the Master In Charge of the Computer Society of Sri Lanka of NSBM. The newly appointed President, Mr. Isiwara Kumarage, addressed the occasion, and Mr. Mubarak, the newly appointed secretary, presented the year plan of the CSSL of NSBM for the term of 2023 July to 2024.
