The Minister of Higher Education, Technology and Innovation, Hon. Dr. Bandula Gunawardena paid an official visit to NSBM Green University today (30.01.2020).
The visit comprised of a university tour, and discussions with the Vice-Chancellor of NSBM, Prof. E.A. Weerasinghe and the Top Management, about NSBM’s visionary plans for the future of education in Sri Lanka.
The Minister appreciated the efforts taken by NSBM Green University to uplift the country’s aim of being a knowledge based economy with the recruitment of over 3000 undergraduates, annually to the university.
Further, during the visit, the Hon. Minister conversed with the lecturers and undergraduates of the university.
