HCL Technologies, India to join NSBMs Industry Partnership Program


A delegation from HCL Technologies ( www.hcltech.com ) a leading multinational technology company headquartered in India and listed in New York and Mumbai Stock Exchanges visited NSBM Green University Town today, 2nd July 2019 to initiate the Industry Partnership with NSBM.

HCL’s integrated product portfolio included solutions, services, and IP strategy built around Digital, IoT, Cloud, Automation, Cybersecurity, Analytics, Infrastructure Management and Engineering Services, amongst others, to help enterprises reimagine their businesses for the digital age.

HCL is looking to facilitate its global clientele from Sri Lanka, occupying office space and using Sri Lankan staff to create technology-based solutions. In addition to hiring experienced software engineers, HCL is interested in employing undergraduates, fresh graduates and train them to administer HCL’s technology-based solutions.

HCL’s senior officers had a lengthy discussion on ways of collaborating with NSBM which includes HCL’s Skilling Prograame, Curriculaum Development, Providing working opportunities for NSBM students.

NSBM’s Industry Partnership Program is designed to optimize synergies among the international and local Industry Partners and NSBM in relation to Entry Level Talent Acquisition (Internship / Training), Skills Development, Knowledge Sharing, Special Projects, Incubation & Entrepreneurship Development and Talent Acquisition of fresh graduates.

All undergraduate programs of NSBM are designed to enable the students to gain the much-needed Industry Exposure, on a full-time basis, from the end of their 2nd year of study onwards, where lectures for 3rd and 4th years are conducted only on weekends. This is a unique feature of NSBM which assures employability of graduates.
