Faculty of Computing Hosts Guest Lecture on Agile Practices from an Industry Perspective
NSBM Faculty of Computing, through the Department of Software Engineering and Computer Security, in collaboration with the Industry Collaboration Unit of the Faculty, successfully conducted a guest lecture on “Agile Practices from the Perspective of Industry.”
The session was conducted by Mr. Thusitha Senanayake, General Manager – Global Process Excellence at Axiata Digital Labs, who shared valuable industry insights on Agile practices, software delivery, process excellence, and continuous improvement. His practical experience helped students understand how Agile concepts are applied in real-world software development environments. This session created a valuable opportunity for students to connect academic knowledge with current industry practices and expectations.
The session was coordinated by Ms. Yasanthika Mathotaarachchi, Lecturer, Faculty of Computing, with the support of Ms. Pavithra Subhadshini, Head of the Industry Collaboration Unit.
