In collaboration with the University Grants Commission (UGC), Dialog Axiata PLC recently established ‘5G Innovation Centres’ at the leading universities in Sri Lanka to create and incubate interest-driven learning, innovation, and entrepreneurship for future leaders.
As one of the remarkable milestones of the program, the “Dialog-NSBM 5G Innovation Center’ established at the NSBM Green University, officially opened on 25th November 2022, in conjunction with the 5th International Conference on Business Innovation (ICOBI) 2022.
The “Dialog-NSBM 5G Innovation Center’ was officially declared open by the two Keynote Speakers of ICOBI 2022; Senior Professor R.M Gamini Rajapakse of University of Peradeniya and Prof. Henrik Hansson of Stockholm University, Sweden.
This momentous occasion was graced with the presence of NSBM Green University Vice-chancellor Prof. E.A. Weerasinghe, Deputy Vice-Chancellor Prof. Chaminda Ratnayake, Head of Academic Development and Quality assurance Prof. Baratha Dodankotuwa, Head of ICT Business – Dialog Axiata PLC Mr. Venura Mendis, Head of Product & Service Innovation – Dialog Axiata PLC Mr. Chathura. The Deans of the Faculties and several other guests from the industry were also among the distinguished guests of the opening ceremony.
