NSBM Department of Computer and Data Science, in collaboration with the CSSL Gen Z Chapter Club, hosted a session on one of the most thriving domains of the modern tech world, Artificial Intelligence, on 27th March 2024. Especially targeting undergraduates in the Faculty of Computing, the session was designed to enlighten them about artificial intelligence and explore innovative career paths in AI.
The session was facilitated by a panel of speakers from TIQRI Corporation, including Ms. Shamali Weerasinghe, Associate Tech Lead – Technology and Mr. Ayodhya Dayananda, Senior Software Engineer – Technology, who shared invaluable insights into the evolving world of AI and the skills leading companies seek from emerging talent in the AI domain.
This is the inaugural session of an upcoming workshop series, which is organised under the guidance of Dean of the Faculty of Computing, Dr. Chaminda Wijesinghe; Head of the Department of Computer and Data Science, Mr. Naji Saranabawan; along with lecturers of the Department of Computer and Data Science, including Ms. Pavithra Subhashini and Ms. Dulanjali Wijesekara.
