The Aviation Career Workshop 2026, organised by the Association of Aviation of ICTH under the Department of Marketing & Tourism Management, Faculty of Business, NSBM Green University, was successfully held on 4 September 2026, providing undergraduates with valuable insights into career opportunities and professional pathways within the aviation industry.

The workshop was designed to broaden students’ understanding of the diverse career opportunities available in the aviation sector while helping them gain practical knowledge on industry expectations, career development, and the skills required to succeed in an increasingly competitive global aviation landscape.

The session featured Dr. Upuli Warnakula – ICAO Global Ambassador, Cabin Crew Supervisor and Lecturer, who served as the resource person. Drawing on her extensive industry experience and professional expertise, Dr. Warnakula shared valuable insights into the realities of working in the aviation sector, career pathways available to aspiring aviation professionals, and the importance of continuous learning and professional development.

The interactive session provided students with an opportunity to gain first-hand perspectives from an experienced aviation professional, while also encouraging them to identify and develop the competencies required to build successful careers in the industry.
