Profile
Ms. Kushani Perera is a Probationary Lecturer attached to the Department of Life Sciences at the Faculty of Science, NSBM Green University. She holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Medical Laboratory Sciences with First Class Honours from the Faculty of Medical Sciences, University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Sri Lanka. She has successfully completed her Master of Science in Biochemistry and Biotechnology at the University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka, further enhancing her expertise. Prior to her current academic appointment, Ms. Perera served as a Demonstrator in the Department of Medical Laboratory Sciences, Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, University of Sri Jayewardenepura. She is a Sri Lanka Medical Council (SLMC) and Ceylon Medical College Council (CMCC) registered Medical Laboratory Technologist, with a solid foundation in clinical practice. She has gained one year of hands-on clinical experience across all core laboratory disciplines, including hematology, pathology, clinical biochemistry, microbiology, and outpatient (OPD) laboratory services, during her training at Colombo South Teaching Hospital and Sri Jayewardenepura General Hospital. |
