QUALIFICATIONS
PROFESSOR
- An earned Doctorate and a Master’s Degree in an appropriate field of specialization from a recognized university or higher educational institute.
- Fifteen or more years of a proven record in teaching, service, and research commensurate with the rank of an Associate Professor / Senior Lecturer.
SENIOR LECTURER
- A Bachelor’s Degree and a Master’s Degree in an appropriate field of specialization from a recognized university. An earned Doctorate will be an added advantage.
- At least five years of teaching experience at the undergraduate/graduate level in a recognized university or higher educational institute.
LECTURER
- A Bachelor’s Degree in an appropriate field of specialization with a First Class from a recognized university.
- A Master’s Degree and lecturing experience will be added advantages.
TEMPORARY LECTURER
- Fresh graduates who have a Bachelor’s Degree in an appropriate field of specialization with a First Class from a recognized university.
TEACHING ASSISTANT/DEMONSTRATOR
- Fresh graduates who have a Bachelor’s Degree in an appropriate field of specialization with a First Class or Second Upper.
Candidates should possess strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills, including public speaking skills. They should also have the ability to work independently and thrive in a high-performing work environment without direct supervision.

UNIVERSITY MEDICAL OFFICER (Full-Time)
The Medical Officer will be responsible for the overall management and smooth operation of the NSBM Medical Centre, while providing full-time medical support to the NSBM Green University community, including students, staff, hostel residents, residents, and other relevant stakeholders.
The selected candidate will serve as the primary medical authority of the University and will be expected to provide clinical care, medical guidance, health education, wellness advisory, preventive healthcare support, emergency response coordination, and professional support on health science-related academic matters within the University environment.
NSBM Green University also operates a student hostel with approximately 500 resident students, and therefore the Medical Officer will be expected to support the health, wellbeing, and safety requirements of hostel students in coordination with the relevant administrative and hostel management teams.
A student-friendly, customer-centric, caring, and service-oriented mindset is essential for this role, as the Medical Officer will be required to engage closely with students, staff, parents/guardians when necessary, and internal service units of the University.
Qualifications and Experience
- MBBS Degree from a recognized University.
- Minimum of five (05) years’ experience in a clinical and/or medical administrative capacity.
- Experience in managing a medical centre, institutional healthcare facility, university/student health service, hostel-related medical support service, or occupational health environment will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge or experience in health education, preventive healthcare, wellbeing advisory, food safety, hygiene, and student welfare-related medical services will be advantageous.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, professional judgement, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and respond effectively to medical and health-related requirements in a university environment.
- A student-friendly, customer-centric, caring, and service-oriented attitude is mandatory.
