Ms. W. Nethmi Kawmudi holds a First Class Honours Degree in Quantity Surveying from General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University and a Master of Regional Development and Planning with Distinction from the University of Colombo, where she graduated as the top student and received the Gold Medal for Outstanding Academic Excellence. She is currently pursuing her Master of Philosophy (MPhil) at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura.
She possesses over five years of academic experience in higher education, with expertise in teaching, curriculum development, academic administration, and undergraduate research supervision.

Her research interests encompass Sustainable Construction, Building Construction Technology, Green Buildings, Building Information Modelling (BIM), Lean Construction, Life Cycle Costing, Project Management, and Construction Innovation. She has authored numerous publications in peer-reviewed journals and international conferences and has received multiple awards for research excellence.
