Ms. Sithumini Jayasekara is a Temporary Lecturer attached to the Faculty of Business at NSBM Green University. She holds a Bachelor of Business Science (Honours) degree in Business Process Management from the University of Moratuwa, graduating with First Class Honours and a GPA of 3.97/4.2. She was awarded the Gold Medal for Best Performing Graduate in Business Process Management and was consistently recognized on the Dean’s List throughout her undergraduate studies.

Prior to joining academia, she gained industry experience as a Planning Intern at MAS Intimates, where she contributed to process optimization and operational planning initiatives. Her academic and professional interests include project management, business process improvement, operations management, data analytics, and sustainable business practices.

Ms. Jayasekara is actively involved in teaching, research, and student development activities. Her research contributions have been recognized internationally, including receiving the Best Research Paper Award in the Business Process Management category at the International Conference on Business Research (ICBR) 2024. She has also published research in the areas of lean management, sustainability, and digital transformation within supply chains.

Beyond her academic responsibilities, she serves as the Lecturer-in-Charge of the Project Management Circle and contributes to various student engagement and community development initiatives.
