Profile
Ms. Sanjali Weerasekara holds an MSc in Mechanical Engineering from Swansea University, UK, where her research was conducted in collaboration with Tata Steel, earning her the Best Thesis Award. She also holds a BSc Engineering (Hons) in Mechatronic Engineering from NSBM Green University.Â
Ms. Sanjali is a certified learning practitioner registered under the Education Workforce Council of Wales. Prior to joining NSBM, she served as a Lecturer at Catapwlt, Wales, UK, where she delivered technical education programmes.Â
She also served as an Engineering Head across multiple countries in the manufacturing industry, leading engineering operations and driving automation and process improvement initiatives in lean manufacturing automation and high-performance R&D environments.
Her research interests lie in industrial AI, deep learning, lean automation, robotics, mechatronics, and embedded control systems.
