A graduate of Wayamba University of Sri Lanka (WUSL) in Bachelor of Science in Agriculture (Honours) Special in Agribusiness Management (Agricultural Business and Economics) with a first class and most recently completed the Masters Degree in Business Administration offered by Postgraduate Institute of Management (PIM), Colombo (affiliated to the University of Sri Jayewardenepura). Completed the Professional Qualification Human Resource Management offered by Charted Institute of Personnel Management. Holds a diploma in English offered by National Institute of Business Management. Prior to joining NSBM was employed as a Demonstrator/ Teaching Assistant at Wayamba University of Sri Lanka, Project Manager at International Institute of Development Training (Pvt) Ltd and Nexon Asia Pacific.

Presently the Vice President (Membership) of PIM Toastmasters club and as a university student engaged in various co-curricular activities. Represented Sri Lanka and WUSL at Bali Democracy Student Conference, Founder member of the university Gavel club, founder president of the Gave club of the Faculty of Agriculture and Plantation Management. Also headed many societies and clubs at the university level and represented the university in competitions, conferences, and events. Was presented with the faculty awards for outstanding performance in both academic and extracurricular activities and was included in the deans list for three consecutive years.
