Profile
A passionate educator and researcher with over four years of industry experience in both Software Engineering and Bioinformatics. Previously served as a Senior Software Engineer with expertise in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, and Python development, and worked as a Bioinformatician specializing in genomics data analysis, NGS pipelines, and AI-driven diagnostics.
Currently pursuing an MSc in Computer Science at the University of Colombo School of Computing. Research interests include the intersection of Machine Learning, Bioinformatics, and Computer Vision, with a strong emphasis on solving real-world biomedical and ecological challenges.
