Ms. Mayumi Kashmika is a graduate of Uva Wellassa University of Sri Lanka with a BBM (Hons) in Entrepreneurship & Management, where she achieved a GPA of 3.95 and was awarded the Vice Chancellor’s Award for the Best Performance in Bachelor of Business Management Honors in Entrepreneurship and Management Degree Programme, Mahinda Katugaha Gold Medal for the Highest Achiever in Faculty of Management , A.G. Karunarathne Gold Medal for the Best Performing Student in Faculty of Management , Gold Medal by the Securities and Exchange Commission of Sri Lanka for outstanding performance in capital market studies and Gold Medal awarded by Bank of Ceylon for the Best Performing Student in Department of Management Sciences and was included in the dean’s list for three consecutive years.. She is currently serving as a Lecturer (Probationary) in the Faculty of Business at NSBM Green University, Sri Lanka attached to the Department of Management. Â
Her career spans diverse roles in internal auditing, accounting, including positions at Richard Pieris & Company PLC, WENODOSL (Pvt) Ltd., and Arpico Interiors. She has also held leadership roles in AIESEC and university associations and engaged in various co-curricular activities reflecting her strong commitment to student development and global engagement.Â
Her research focuses on entrepreneurship, SME development, forensic accounting, and financial inclusion. She has published in peer‑reviewed journals and presented at national and international conferences, earning recognition such as Best Paper and Best Presenter awards.
