Profile
Ms. Jagodage Nishani Chathurika is a Lecturer (Probationary) attached to the Department of Health Sciences at the Faculty of Science, NSBM Green University. She obtained her B.Sc. (Hons) in Nursing from the Faculty of Nursing, University of Colombo, with First-Class Honors. She was awarded the Gold Medal for Academic Excellence at the University of Colombo Convocation 2023 and was listed on the Dean’s List for four consecutive years.
She is an Erasmus+ scholarship winner, having completed an exchange program at Justus Liebig University, Giessen, Germany. Her research focuses on nursing informatics, ethical dilemmas in nursing, and stress among university students, with multiple peer-reviewed publications.
Ms. Chathurika is a Sri Lanka Nursing Council-registered nurse with clinical experience in adult health, psychiatric, pediatric, oncology, and community health nursing at leading hospitals, including Colombo South Teaching Hospital and the National Hospital of Sri Lanka.
